In response to community requests the Blue Mountain Coalition is working with local farmers and producers, including Always Something Farm, Soular Farm, Berning Acres and Early Bird Farm and Mill to launch a certified Farmers Market in West Point.

The West Point Farmers Market will be sponsored by the Blue Mountain Coalition for Youth and Families and be held at their Blue Mountain Center on Main Street.   The West Point Farmers Market will be Thursdays from 4-7pm, opening on July 13th and running through October 12th. The market will include produce from local farms, flour and grain from Early Bird Farm and Mill, as well as non-food products from local makers and artists.  The market will also offer a kids play area on the patio at the Blue Mountain Center and live music.

"For years local residents have been asking if we can help start a Farmers Market in West Point" says Blue Mountain Coalition Executive Director Terra Forgette. " We are very excited to be working with some of our new local farmers to finally bring fresh produce directly to our community."
