Dig out your best retro ski gear, your dancing shoes, and an appetite for fun! If you’re not familiar with our pond skim event, click the following link for a recap.

The goal is to make your way across our man-made pond on your skis or snowboard without falling, though falling is half the fun! The event also includes a beer and wine tasting, performances from UC Berkeley’s Marching Band and we’ve booked Star Dogs, a local rock and roll band that will keep the afternoon lively!

We will be partnering with the Bear Valley Parents Group to bring the Brewfest portion of the event. The Brewfest will include a sampling of beer and wine. All proceeds from the Brewfest will go directly towards the Busy Bears Playschool and Bear Valley Summer Day Camp!

Event Schedule 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (or until registration is full) – Pond Skim registration and Sign Up at the Sun Room Kiosk

12:15 PM – UC Berkeley’s Marching Band Performance to kick off Pond Skim

12:30 PM – Pond Skim Starts

12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Brewfest hours

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Live Music by the Star Dog.
